South London neo-soul artist Greentea Peng brings a catalogue shaped by self-inquiry and emotional dualities, blending neo-soul, dub and jazz with psychedelic textures. Her 2018 EP, Sensi, established a sound built from weighty narration, dubby grain, sparse arrangements and an earthy, soulful voice. The programme highlights “Downers,” performed for COLORS, and “Hu Man,” performed on Later... with Jools Holland, alongside her 2021 debut album MAN MADE. Her latest album, TELL DEM IT'S SUNNY, continues themes of self-witnessing, affirmation, emotional maturity and radical self-acceptance; its examples include the rising-and-falling soundscape “BALI SKIT PT. 1” and the voice-note-led “RAW.”
