The first half of this program will bring you on a great journey through staples and historical landmarks of the brass ensemble genre paired with some entertaining arrangements which demonstrate the vast capabilities of the group.
Janáček's rarely performed Sinfonietta, initially written for full orchestra (and 25 brass players), is reimagined for brass ensemble in this concert. Recreating this glorious work, hear the composition come to life with all the emotion and impact as if it were a full-scale orchestra.
