La Bohème Club

Sat 10 Oct 7pm - 11pm

Nineteen Ten, Adelaide

La Bohème Club is a curated cabaret experience created and hosted by Christine “The Cirque Songstress” Ibrahim, capturing the romance, artistry and rebellious spirit of bohemian Paris.

Inspired by the French word bohème, with a subtle nod to Puccini’s celebrated opera La Bohème, each evening brings together live music, French chanson, jazz, circus, burlesque and special guest artists in an intimate late-night salon. The name also pays tribute to Adelaide’s beloved La Bohème venue, which closed in 2019 after an extraordinary 12-year run. A significant part of the city’s cabaret history, the venue helped inspire Fafi D'Alour's creation of Nineteen Ten.

This new club is not a revival, but a celebration of the creativity, community and sense of possibility that made La Bohème so memorable. Blending Parisian elegance with the energy of Adelaide’s contemporary cabaret scene, La Bohème Club offers a home for extraordinary performers, unexpected moments and unforgettable nights.
