BLAST FROM THE PAST: THE GREAT RURAL QUIZ

Think you know your tractors from your traction engines? Your gumboots from your Red Bands? or just want to see how much useless rural knowledge is hiding in your head?

As part of Manawatū Rural Month, Blast From The Past is heading down the back paddock for a wonderfully quirky Rural Quiz Night!

Expect a night of country trivia, rural nostalgia, curious questions, old-time cinema snippets and a few surprises along the way.

Presiding over proceedings will be our rather confident host, who comes armed with all the answers… including, we suspect, several she may have made up herself.

Gather your neighbours, round up the family, assemble the farm crew or find the smartest people you know and put your collective rural knowledge to the test.

Your ticket includes:

A full evening of quirky rural quiz entertainment

Blast From The Past old-time cinema snippets

Tea & coffee station throughout the evening

A small country-style supper

Bragging rights for those who manage to outsmart our host!

Tickets: $30 per person

Groups of 4 or more: $27.50 per person

You don't need to be a farmer to join in; townies, lifestyle blockers, rural legends and people who simply own a pair of gumboots are all welcome.

Come along for a good old-fashioned night out where the questions are rural, the company is good, and the accuracy of the host is… occasionally open to interpretation.
