Seals & Sunlight: Barunguba/Montague Island Photo Experience

Sun 20 Sep 5:30am - 8:30am

Narooma Wharf, Canberra

Barunguba Montague Island Photo Workshops offer an unforgettable marine photography experience off the NSW South Coast. Led by photojournalist Garry Sims — published in Forty South Tasmania magazine and facilitator of Mogo Wildlife Park ZOOm Photography Workshops — participants capture sunrise light, seal colonies, and marine birds from a chartered vessel with Narooma Charters.

The three hour session combines professional guidance, ethical wildlife practice, and breathtaking seascapes. Ideal for photographers of all levels, each workshop delivers hands‑on instruction, creative inspiration, and a chance to photograph Barunguba’s natural beauty without landing on the island.

A minimum eight passengers are required for this workshop to proceed. Full refund will be provided if minimum numbers are not reached and/or if the Vessel Master deems conditions unsafe to proceed.

Future sessions are planned to include whale photography and potential island tours.
