Following the success of our inaugural African Australian Multicultural Celebration 2025, the African Australian Advocacy Centre (AAAC) is pleased to invite you to the Second Annual African Australian Multicultural Celebration, to be held on Saturday, 19 September 2026 at 6:00 PM at Parramatta Town Hall.

This important national gathering will bring together community leaders, policymakers, political representatives from across the political spectrum, academics, professionals, and the wider Australian community for an evening dedicated to celebrating the rich cultures, achievements, and growing contributions of African Australians.

A central moment of the evening will be the launch of the African Impact in Australia research report, a landmark study highlighting the political, economic, and social contributions of people of African descent across Australia. The report also presents key insights and policy recommendations aimed at strengthening representation, expanding opportunity, and supporting community empowerment.

The event will also recognise the Second International Decade for People of African Descent (2025–2034), a global initiative of the United Nations focused on advancing recognition, justice, and development for people of African descent worldwide.

Guests will experience thought-provoking national and international speakers, meaningful dialogue, and vibrant cultural performances from Africa and beyond, creating a powerful evening of celebration, reflection, and connection.

Together, we will celebrate African heritage, social cohesion, and the continued contribution of African Australians to the national story of Australia.
