Heilung presents an “amplified history” ritual drawing on the sounds, traditions and spiritual practices of early civilisations. The stage work combines warriors, elaborate costumes, ancient instruments, incense, hypnotic percussion, vocal performances, ritualistic movement and atmospheric soundscapes. Each ritual begins with an ancient prayer led by founding member Kai Uwe Faust; vocalist Maria Franz and producer Christopher Juul are also part of the collective. Support comes from singer-songwriter Lilith Max, whose music blends dark folklore, mythology and fantasy. The collective returned to the studio in late 2026 to begin work on a fourth studio album, with new music planned for its next chapter.
