Mel is an experienced actor whose recent work includes Prima Facie, Monument and Miss Brontë. She has taught Acting at professional and community levels for Bell Shakespeare, Sydney Theatre Company and ACA in Sydney, Verve Studios and Action Drama in Melbourne, WPAC, Whitireia, Toi Whakaari and independently in Wellington. She has an MA in Acting from ArtsEd London. Her work references Uta Hagen, Michael Chekhov, Howard Fine and Stanislavski. But mostly it's working with a varied tool box to find what an actor needs in the moment to connect more deeply to their work,
