Originally from Uruguay and now based in Aotearoa New Zealand, Dyego has spent the past 20 years working across film and photography, capturing stories that have taken him around the world.

His diverse creative journey has included working on major Hollywood productions, feature films, television, documentaries and music videos, alongside documenting people and communities in extraordinary environments - from Indigenous Shamans in Colombia and Samoan fire knife dancers to mountain climbers in the Andes.

Through these experiences, Dyego has developed a unique perspective on storytelling, creativity and the human experience. His work is also influenced by meditation, mindfulness, nature and wellbeing, shaping not only how he sees through the camera but how he approaches everyday life.

Come along to hear about Dyego’s creative journey, the experiences that have shaped his practice, and what he has learned from 20 years behind the camera.
