Sat 19 Sep 5pm - 8:30pm
A simple, hands-on introduction to pottery through hand-building. Over eight weeks, participants will learn how to build and shape their pieces, add and remove clay, explore surface decoration techniques, experiment with basic glazing, and finish by exhibiting their completed work.
Using self-portrait or pet portrait as creative prompts, this facilitated workshop is designed for those new to pottery or anyone wanting a relaxed refresher of the basics. It is focused on hand-building only, with no wheel work.
The program is free to attend, with clay, glazing, firing and all required materials provided. Just bring an apron, your creative spark and a smile. A light evening tea with tea, coffee and biscuits will also be available.
Adults 18+ only • Alcohol-free • All welcome and accepted
If you have any questions, accessibility needs or concerns about participating, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
