Dumplings & Dub is back at Brewed As for Labour Weekend - Sunday 25 October.

Fish & Bread Sound System return to the courtyard, bringing their hand-built sound system and a night of reggae and dub to Mangawhai.

We’ll have dumplings rolling from the kitchen, the bar open, and Fish & Bread on the controls from 5:30pm. Settle in for good food, cold drinks and some seriously good sounds as we celebrate the long weekend.

If you’ve been to Dumplings & Dub before, you know the vibe. If you haven’t, Labour Weekend feels like a pretty good time to find out.

Fish & Bread Sound System is a hand-built reggae sound system created to celebrate the rich catalogue of reggae-based music originating from Jamaica and Europe over the past 50 years. Built in the tradition of European sound systems, it brings a warmth, weight and character that you simply don't get from a regular PA.

Their selections move through dub and reggae with music chosen to connect the dancefloor and bring people together. Expect a journey from the mystical to the militant and plenty in between.
