Wine and Food, Gisborne is an iconic Labour Weekend tradition - GISSY’s FAVOURITE celebration of everything this region does best: exceptional wine, delicious food vendors, an array of live music on stages, and great company!

Whether you’re a longtime local or visiting for the long weekend, this is your invitation to unwind and enjoy it all among the vines at Gisborne’s oldest winery – Matawhero, this year’s venue. Co-host and long-time friends and partners, TW Wines will be on-site as well, each bringing their own flavour of the region’s wine, culture, and atmosphere.

We are excited this year to also announce the introduction of some of other local wines and themed bars that allow guests to explore and enjoy all the styles and diversity that Gisborne produce.

Wine & Food Gisborne runs from 12pm-6pm and general admission includes entry and a souvenir glass. You can purchase an optional bus ticket this year which provides a return bus service between Gisborne city and Matawhero.
