An introduction to propagating local plants

Saturday September 19, 1.00-3.30pm

Come along and learn the basics on how to propagate indigenous plants that grow in Nillumbik at our community nursery in St Andrews, established in 2010.

Sue Aldred, co-founder of Stringybark, will cover seed types, methods of propagation, pricking out seedlings and more. Indigenous plants are important to our ecosystems and planting local is a positive step towards contributing to our environment in these troubled times. You’ll also be able to browse our competitively priced stock and find out more about getting involved in the nursery following the workshop.

All materials and some notes are included in the cost and you will be able to take your sown seed home. Afternoon tea provided.
