It’s the news fans have been waiting for: following the release of his acclaimed fifth studio album, Deadbeat, Tame Impala – the visionary project led by Kevin Parker – returns to Melbourne this October.

Kevin Parker stands as one of the most influential voices of the last decade. He launched a bold new musical chapter with Deadbeat, which arrived in late 2025, led by three killer singles: “Loser,” “End of Summer,” and “Dracula.” “Dracula” delivered Parker’s biggest US radio debut to date and landed at number 3 in this year’s triple j Hottest 100, almost 20 years after Tame Impala first appeared in the poll.

Now a 6-piece touring band, Tame Impala kicked off the Deadbeat tour with 12 sold-out North American shows in 2025 and will tour the UK and Europe before returning to the USA and Canada in July.

Australian psychedelic music project Tame Impala blends swirling synths, hypnotic grooves and expansive production into a sound that reshaped modern alternative music. Founded in Perth by Kevin Parker, the project broke through with Innerspeaker before reaching global acclaim with Lonerism and the hit “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards”. Parker’s meticulous songwriting and studio craft fuse rock, pop and electronic influences into immersive, forward-thinking records.

Tame Impala expanded its global reach with Currents and The Slow Rush, spawning tracks like “Let It Happen” and “The Less I Know the Better”. The project headlines major festivals worldwide and earns multiple ARIA Awards and GRAMMY nominations. With innovation and sonic ambition, Tame Impala continue to define contemporary psychedelic pop.
