Nightmare on Bones Street
Something is stirring in the streets of Tāmaki Makaurau…
We’re bringing the Burn back to the city for a pan-Burner STREET PARTY unlike anything that Auckland’s seen before!
Kiwiburners. Ignition Pests. Theme Campers. Artists. Fire Spinners. DJs. Makers. Mischief-makers. Veteran Burners, Baby Burners and the Burner-curious. We’re throwing open the doors and bringing the strange, creative and occasionally questionable brilliance of our communities together for one very big night in the heart of our city.
And because this is a Burn, you’re not just coming to watch.
You’re part of it.
What's waiting inside?
We’re transforming the space into a multi-zone playground packed with music, art, cabaret, fire, performance and plenty of glorious nonsense.
Expect:
Two dance floors loaded with musical talent from across our Burner communities.
A cabaret stage packed with performance, spectacle, surprises and probably a few things that are difficult to adequately explain on a ticketing page.
InflammARTory; meet the artists behind some of the weird and wonderful projects heading to Kiwiburn next year. See what they’re building, hear the ideas behind it and help us get more Burner art out of people's heads and onto the Paddock.
Fire and art, because apparently putting Burners in the middle of Auckland and asking them to behave normally wasn't an option.
A Chill Space, for when your dancing legs require negotiations.
No passouts after 9PM.
And that's only what we're telling you about…..
Participation
There are many ways to be part of the event. See the list and fill out the form: https://forms.gle/hEwgnSpjGW5vHkrS9
Party with a purpose.
This night is also a fundraiser supporting Burner art projects heading to Kiwiburn, helping our community turn ambitious, ridiculous and beautiful ideas into reality.
Your ticket helps make more art happen.
Costumes
Expected. Not mandatory. Strongly encouraged. The spookier the better.
Burner principles apply
If you're new to Burner culture, welcome. You don't need to know the secret handshake but please familiarise yourself with the 10 Principles before joining us.
Consent
We want everyone to have an excellent night and feel safe doing it. Consent is active, mutual and ongoing, and consequences are real. Respect people's bodies, boundaries and personal space. If you're not sure, ask. If it's not an enthusiastic yes, it's a no. http://www.kiwiburn.com/prepare/consent/
Leave no trace
This is a Leave No Trace event. What you bring in, you take out. Please also sort your waste responsibly at home.
Leftover Love
Leftover Love runs at Kiwiburn each year to help the local community. Bring along a can of food to donate to those facing hardship in Auckland.
IMPORTANT BITS
STRICTLY NO ENTRY AFTER 2AM. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO PASSOUTS AFTER 9PM.
Parking: Street parking is available around the venue, but spaces are very limited.
Leave no trace: Take your rubbish and recycling with you.
Consent: Respect it. Practice it. Look out for each other. If you see something

Let’s get weird
