Open Showcase – Meet Our Resident Artists

Welcome to Open Showcase, celebrating the artists selected for the Open Studios Artist Residency 2026–2027 at The Arts Village.

Each year, the OSP provides artists with the time, space, and support to develop new ideas, experiment with their practice, and connect with our creative community. Since 2011, the residency has supported 66 artists, fostering innovation, collaboration, and artistic growth in Rotorua.

We'll introduce this year's resident artists, sharing their creative journeys, project ideas, and the work they'll be developing during the residency. Working across a diverse range of mediums and practices, each artist brings a unique perspective to our shared studios.
