Before The Edit.
Somewhere between who you've been told to be and who you actually are.
A return to your primal knowing.
A somatic experience for women.
The aliveness you've been looking for was never somewhere else. It was always here.
You're tired. But it's not the kind of tired that sleep fixes.
It's the tiredness that lives underneath all the responsibilities, all the expectations: work, other people's needs, the endless mental load.
And alongside it, this quiet restlessness.
Is this all there is?
You know something's missing. You just can't name it.
You've thought about a new career, a new relationship, a holiday, cycling through options, hoping one of them is the answer.
Your mind overcomplicates everything and you know it. You just don't know how to stop.
Your body has been carrying this for a long time.
You've probably been told to meditate. To breathe. To journal. To think less.
And maybe it helps - for a moment.
But the noise always comes back.
Because most approaches work from the top down.
They start in the mind and hope the body follows.
This is different.
This isn't new. It's ancient.
Humans have always used sound and movement to regulate, to grieve, to connect, to come back to themselves in groups.
In every culture, in every era, before therapy, before self-help, before we were told to sit still and think our way through it:
We moved together.
We made sound together.
We let the body lead.
We didn't lose this because it stopped working.
We lost it because we were taught to be still.
To be quiet.
To hold it together.
UNEDITED is a return to your primal knowing.
What is UNEDITED?
Drawing on 15 years of clinical experience across psychology, neuroscience and nervous system science, this work starts in the body and lets the mind follow.
Not because it's a technique, but because it's the way we're actually wired.
This is two hours of coming back.
Not adding more to your life.
Your life is already full.
This is about accessing what's already in you, underneath the noise, underneath the performance, underneath the version of yourself you've been managing for everyone else.
Through movement, voice and somatic work you'll drop out of your head and back into your body.
You'll laugh.
The kind of laughing you haven't done since you were a kid: uninhibited, unguarded, not performing for anyone.
Women who've been in this room describe walking out feeling something they hadn't felt in years - a rawness, a sudden simplicity. Like the noise dropped away and they remembered who they were before life got so complicated.
Not because something was added.
Because they were finally given permission to be themselves.
Who I am
Louise Cridland: Holistic Psychologist and Somatic Practitioner.
This methodology wasn't designed.
It was lived.
For years I found myself asking the same question, both personally and professionally:
Why do so many of us know ourselves so well and still feel disconnected from who we really are?
The answer lives in the body.
In what I've come to call your primal knowing. The intelligence underneath the noise that was always there, waiting.
What followed was years of personal excavation, clinical practice and exploring different modalities.
Gathering pieces that eventually came together into something simple.
Sometimes the body needs to take us where the mind can't.
UNEDITED is my response to that question.
Nervous about the movement part?
Most women are.
This isn't ecstatic dance. There's no choreography, no performance, and no expectation that you'll know what to do with your body.
Everything is guided.
And it's grounded in how your nervous system actually works.
The same science behind why your body shakes after a fright. Why a big cry can leave you suddenly feeling lighter.
Your body already knows how to do this. I'm simply creating the conditions for it.
Every woman who has walked into this room feeling nervous has left saying some version of:
"I can't believe I was worried about that."
And:
"I feel like myself again."
