Join us on Friday 25 September from 11am - 12noon for a special storytime session with Tseren Byambasuren, author of Jangar the Legendary Camel.

Inspired by a beloved Mongolian folktale and the mysterious antlered camel found in ancient rock art, Tseren brings history, culture, and imagination together through engaging storytelling. Her interactive storytelling sessions invite children and families to discover the importance of cultural heritage, caring for the land, and the enduring power of stories to connect us across generations.

Tseren Byambasuren is a Mongolian-born PhD researcher at Griffith University, where she studies ancient rock art and the stories her ancestors left behind. She is the co-author of Jangar the Legendary Camel, a bilingual Mongolian–English children’s book written with award-winning Australian author Tess Rowley.

Book signing available after the event. Copies of Jangar the Legendary Camel and special Jangar plushies will be available for purchase on the day.
