MANWOL 滿月 is a celebration of the full moon, and of what becomes possible when different communities, sounds and creative practices gather in the same place. Across two days and two venues, Gamma Ray Bursts, Earworthy! and +SIX12 come together to create a shared Mid-Autumn experience shaped by music, food, art and participation.

On Friday, Earworthy transforms Abbots Yard into an open, day-to-evening festival. Around the music, guests can follow a series of cultural “side quests”: independent film and publishing, handcrafted lantern-making, screen-printing workshop, and spaces for mahjong, chess and conversation. Japanese hot dogs, festival-inspired food, Chinese tea, Asian natural wine and Japanese craft beer extend the gathering around the table.

On Saturday, Gamma Ray Bursts and +SIX12 take MANWOL into its second expression at Solace: a two-floor club programme bringing together Artists from across Naarm & Eora music community.

The two days are distinct but connected: one unfolding as a social and cultural gathering, the other through the collective energy of the dance floor.

MANWOL also carries a shared social purpose. All proceeds after costs will be donated to Living Languages, supporting First Nations people working to maintain, revitalise and reclaim their languages.

Friday’s programme is designed as one continuous musical journey, departing from relaxed afternoon selections into live performance, settles on hip-hop, groove, psychedelics before arriving to the dance floor.

Saturday at Solace · curated by Gamma Ray Bursts and +SIX12 · 7pm - 3am

GRB has teamed up with +SIX12 to bring dance focused night built on the same idea the name comes from. Through union, transformation, something rare is being forged.
