Hutt Valley Orchestra's Christmas concert is a feast of dances and Christmas-inspired pieces.

Mendelssohn's Wedding March, Offenbach's Overture to “Orpheus in the Underworld”, including the Cancan, and Gounod's Phryné’s Dance from ”Faust” set the scene for a lively concert. There is more excitement with Rossini's “La Boutique Fantasque” and then we play Christmas pieces. Listen for the trumpet solo by our conductor in Leroy Anderson's “Sleigh Ride”, and enjoy the sing along Christmas carols.

We are delighted to be joined by Seraphim Choir from Chilton Saint James School.
