HallowGreen is a live theatrical experience that tackles climate change with a message of hope. Blending TED-style science, original musical performances, and theatrical storytelling, this show offers a fascinating roadmap to move the dial on climate solutions. Informative, entertaining and inspiring, HallowGreen offers audiences an engaging and entertaining exploration of the most important issue of our time.

How do you feel when you think about climate change? No matter how you answer, this night is for you. What makes this story special is the way it invites the audience to see themselves on stage. Sensitive to the wide spectrum of beliefs on climate change, the show incorporates these disparate voices into a cohesive whole, validating them to move forward together. It turns the us vs them debate into we.

Intellectually challenging, visibly entertaining, and uproariously funny, this is the climate change story you've never seen before. It meets the big questions head on and inspires us to work together toward a solution.

This year’s story is a fast-moving journey through the ages. We see climate change play out through the pursuits of a medieval village, the revolutionary ideas of the Renaissance, the rise of Big Oil and the near future we all want to see. We uncover the communal forces that shaped our climate story and now shape the climate solutions.

Our cast and crew are highly accomplished in the arts. Directed by James Luck (Dancing with the Stars, Auckland Theatre Company), Produced by Latu Harper (APRA Music Awards Nominee), Seth Scott (TEDx Speaker and climate educator), and Creative Director Rowan Murray (LaroTuro) and starring Denise Snoad (Brokenwood Mysteries).

The cast is made up of people you may already know, but you may not know their talents. By day, they are full-time transport planners, project managers, lawyers, accountants, consultants, and climate and sustainability specialists, but their passions and real talents are in singing, acting, and comedy. They bring to this production a real-world veritas rarely seen performed.

Narrated by a rising climate and sustainability expert, we hear characters from both the Left and Right, our Amygdala, and a merry band of dreamers, realists, doubters, and inventors as we explore the biggest issues of our time. It's the most fun you've ever had thinking about sustainability and climate change!
