A movement and meditation class based on the philosophies of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika that takes you through the fudamentals of a seated practice while using movement and breath to prime the body for a contemplative meditative practice. All welcome (all inclusive, non-exclusive)
Having practiced breath awareness meditation for the last decade and wanting to share some of that experience I welcome you to this immersive movement and meditation session where I will be sharing some of the basics and fundamentals of a contemplative practice in line with the traditional systems of yoga.
Having been born in Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, my practice is deeply influenced by the rich cultural and spiritual environment of Nepal and Himalayan Buddhism.
Topics that will be touched upon
30 mins of guided asana practice followed by guided meditation (option to stay for as little or the whole 30 mins)
How to get started with only 5 breaths (breath awareness mediation)
How to maintain a practice over the long term
The complementary relationship between asanas and meditation
How meditation fits within the context of classical yoga (Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras) and modern yoga (Hatha Yoga Tradition)
Kindly email pranaysnoc10@gmail.com for refunds and any concerns after having taken the class.
With Love and Gratitude
