5-week Beginner Pottery Class!

Spring into our 5-week beginner pottery class! Come and learn the basic construction techniques of pinch pots, slabs, coils and slumping in a friendly and inclusive space.

Spend 4 weeks creating mugs, bowls, platters and more, maybe even a Christmas tree or decorations for the holidays!

After all your creations have been dried and bisque fired, you will then come back to the studio for a 3-hour glaze session where we will teach you the basics of adding colour and design to your pieces!

Days & Duration – Wednesday nights, 4 x Making sessions - 07/10, 14/10, 21/10, 28/10. 1 x Glazing session - 18/11.

The beginner’s hand-building class consist of 4 consecutive weeks of making and 1 x glazing session that will be scheduled after your pieces have been dried and bisque fired.

Time – Making sessions 6:00pm - 8:30pm Glaze session 600pm - 9:00pm.

Location – Nocturne Studio 12 North St Shepparton, enter through side door.

What is included and what to bring – Everything you will need for the class is included, feel free to bring your own apron if you're more comfortable. We have tea, coffee, decaf and skim milk provided. Please bring along any other drink preferences or snacks if you like. We suggest bringing your water bottle and wearing comfortable clothes you would not mind getting stained or at worst a few holes.

Cost – $350

Firing – Firing of your pieces are $12 per kilo.
